The Stone Canoe Editor is Robert Colley, Associate Dean, University College, Syracuse University.
For Stone Canoe Issue Number 5, the guest editors are as follows:
- The Stone Canoe Drama Editor is Kyle Bass, playwright and resident dramaturg for Syracuse Stage. Bass is also on the faculty of the M.F.A. Creative Writing Program at Goddard College in Vermont and teaches playwriting for the Syracuse University Drama Department.
- The Stone Canoe Fiction Editor is Phil LaMarche, writing fellow in the Syracuse University Graduate Creative Writing Program and winner of the Ivan Kilma Fellowship in Fiction in Prague. His work has appeared in Esquire, Ninth Letter, and the 2005 Robert Olen Butler Prize Story anthology.
- The Stone Canoe Film Editor is Nancy Keefe Rhodes, arts journalist and member of the national Women Film Critics Circle and a pre-screener for the Syracuse International Film Festival. Rhodes' reviews and interviews have appeared in such publications as Cineaste, Stylus magazine, and Fanzine.
- The Stone Canoe Nonfiction Editor is Harriet Brown, Assistant Professor of Magazine Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Commuinication at Syracuse University. Brown has worked on numerous magazines for nearly 30 years including Elle, Health, Parenting,and the New York Times Magazine. Her latest book, Brave Girl Eating, a family memoir based on a New York Times Magazine feature, is due to be published in 2010.
- The Stone Canoe Poetry Editor is Minnie Bruce Pratt, poet and Professor of Women’s Studies and Writing at Syracuse University. Her 2003 book The Dirt She Ate received the 2003 Lambda Literary Award for Poetry and work from this book also received the Lucille Medwick Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America.
- The Stone Canoe Visual Arts Editor is Lynette Stephenson, Associate professor of Art and Art History at Colgate University. Stephenson has exhibited in Central New York institutions such as the Everson Museum of Art, Syracuse; Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Auburn; Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester, Rochester; and Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute, Utica.

The Stone Canoe Guest Editors for the inaugural issue were Michael Burkard (poetry), Daniel Torday (fiction), Johanna Keller (nonfiction), and David MacDonald (visual arts). Cotributing Editor was George Saunders.
The Stone Canoe Guest Editors for the second issue were
Paul Aviles (poetry co-editor), Michael Burkard (poetry co-editor), Davd Lloyd (fiction) and Marion Wilson (visual arts).
The Stone Canoe Guest Editors for the third issue were
Eric Gansworth (fiction), Philip Memmer (poetry), and Gail Hoffman (visual arts). Contributing Editors were Mary Lee Hodgens and Thom Ward.
The Stone Canoe Guest Editors for the fourth issue were
Jennifer Pashley (fiction), Charles Martin (poetry), and Kim Waale (visual arts).
Contributing Editors for issue 4 were: Kyle Bass, Doran Larson, Nancy Keefe Rhodes, and Martha Zvonik.
The Stone Canoe Web Designers are Denise Heckman, Associate Professor of Industrial and Interactive Design, College of Visual and Performing Arts, and Philippe Pascal of Philippe Pascal Media & Marketing, The Netherlands. Heckman is being assisted by students from her department.
The Stone Canoe Design Consultant is Adam Rozum, a freelance designer who divides his time between Upstate New York and Mexico.
The Stone Canoe Art Director is E. L. Cummings Serafini.
The Stone Canoe Production Manager is Karen Nadolski.
The Stone Canoe Web Technology Consultant is Michael Frasciello.
